Thrillers. Horror. Short Fiction.

Some of the most important moments in my reading life:

  • Reading Ian Fleming’s Doctor No on an airplane (the octopus scene).

  • Driving through a Chicago rainstorm and listening to Danielle Trussoni’s Angelology on audiobook.

  • Reading Charles McCarry’s The Tears of Autumn in a college bar in Galway, Ireland, during a vampire convention afterparty I accidentally attended and thoroughly enjoyed.

My fiction has appeared in ThugLit, Berkeley Fiction Review, and elsewhere. I’ve been listed in the “Notable Stories” of Best American Mystery Stories and been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. My author site is here. I’m represented by John Talbot of the Talbot Fortune Agency (no relation).

Outside of writing, I work out, fail at pescatarian recipes and travel. I also work for LinkedIn where I think about advertising and present to clients and audiences.
